To level the playing field, ART:DIS is one of few non-profit organisations in Singapore to pair aspiring artists with industry mentors. Under its Industry Mentorship Programme, which first pioneered with the Performing Arts and has now expanded to include Visual arts too, persons with disabilities spend 1–2 years working with veterans of their chosen field to better prepare them for a career in the arts. Two industry mentors, Dr Philip Tan & Dr Dawn-joy Leong, and two mentees, Jaspreet Kaur & Sky Shen, share more about their journey of learning and collaborating with one another to devise original works.
