To commemorate the opening of the newly renovated Choa Chu Kang bus interchange, seven of Very Special Arts’ Artists-In-Training were commissioned to create paintings for the space’s interior under the theme My Futuristic City. The launch was graced by Minister of Health Mr Gan Kim Yong, as well as the students (Floyd Thien, Titus Choo, Joshua Tang, Ezra Chan, Tan Si Xue, Noah Tan and Mitchell Soh) who were all amazed at the artworks on display. Mr Roger Thien, father to Artist-In-Training Floyd Thien, shared: “Although my son isn’t good at expressing himself verbally, I can tell he is very happy that his paintings are exhibited in public places.”
